The Irati river (Basque: Iratiko erreka) is a right bank tributary of the Aragon in Sangüesa, Navarre. It begins in the Irati Forest, then feeds the water retenue of 'Itoiz.
Flowing northward, the river receives its French tributary, l’Iratiko. Before reaching Irabia, it is dammed to form Lake Irabia, a reservoir created in 1921. This picturesque lake, located in the heart of the forest, is also fed by the Urrio River, another northern tributary.
