The Southern Command (Hebrew: פיקוד דרום‎, romanized: Pikud Darom), often abbreviated to Padam (פד"מ‎), is a regional command of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). It is responsible for the Negev, the Arava, and Eilat. It is currently headed by Yaniv Asor.
