Jõhvi (/ˈjoʊvi/ YOH-vee; Estonian: [ˈjɤhʋi]; German: Jewe) is a town in northeastern Estonia, and the administrative seat of Ida-Viru County and Jõhvi Parish. The town is located about 50 km west of the Estonia–Russia international border.
