J.E.H. Grobler

J.E.H. Grobler (Jackie) (9 February 1951 - ) is a South African history writer. He was a senior lecturer in the Department of Historical and Heritage Studies at the University of Pretoria, but retired in 2016. He has written ten books and more than 20 academic articles. One of his best-known works is The War Reporter: The Anglo-Boer War through the Eyes of the Burghers. He is married to Elize and they have four children.
