Jacques Morel (actor)

Jacques Morel (French pronunciation: [ʒak mɔʁɛl]; 29 May 1922 in Paris – 9 April 2008 in Paris) was a French film and television actor. He was the French language voice of the cartoon character Obelix in the animated adaptation of the Asterix comic book.

He was a graduate of HEC Paris.

Jacques Morel died in Paris, France, on 9 April 2008, at the age of 85.
