James Haas Scheuer (/ʃɔɪər/ SHOY-er) (February 6, 1920 – August 30, 2005) was an American lawyer and military veteran who served as a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from New York. He was also affiliated with the Liberal Party of New York.
