Jamīla bint Thābit (Arabic: جميلة بنت ثابت), originally named ʿĀṣiya (Arabic: عاصية), was a wife of Umar. She was among the disciples (known in Arabic as Sahaba or companions) of Islamic prophet Muhammad.
