Januarius Jingwa (JJ) Asongu (born 17 August 1970) is a Cameroonian-American academic journalist, entrepreneur, and human rights activist.
After settling in the United States, Asongu became active in human rights and political advocacy. In 2012, he founded Saint Monica University (SMU), an American-style international University based in Buea, Cameroon and headquartered in Delaware, USA.
