Jetisu (Kazakh: Жетісу [ʑetɪˈso̞]) or Semirechye (Russian: Семиречье, IPA: [sʲɪmʲɪˈrʲetɕje]) or Heptopotamia is a historical region in Central Asia corresponding to the southeastern part of modern Kazakhstan.
