John Joseph Marchi (born Giovanni Marchi; May 20, 1921 – April 25, 2009) was an American politician, attorney and jurist. A member of the Republican Party from Staten Island, New York, he was a member of the New York State Senate from 1957 to 2006, making him the longest-serving state legislator in New York history. He was the Republican nominee for Mayor of New York City in 1969 and 1973.
