Jorge Haddock Acevedo (Spanish: [ˈxoɾxe ˈxaðok aseˈβeðo]; born 15 August 1955) is a Puerto Rican engineer and academic administrator, who previously served as the president of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR). On July 7, 2021, the Governing Board of the UPR unanimously requested his resignation and his term ended on July 31, 2021 .
