KCHJ (1010 AM "El Gallito 1010") is a radio station that broadcasts a Ranchera and Norteño Oldies format to the Bakersfield metropolitan area. Licensed to Delano, California, the station is owned by Lotus Communications. Its studios are located in southwest Bakersfield.

By day, KCHJ is powered at 5,000 watts. But 1010 AM is a Mexican clear channel frequency. To protect other stations from interference, KCHJ reduces power at night to 1,000 watts and it uses a directional antenna at all times. The transmitter is on Road 112 at Avenue B, northwest of Delano.

FM translator K229CD 93.7 MHz simulcasts the main AM broadcasting station, providing the listener the ability to tune to an FM frequency with improved sound. The 250-watt translator utilizes only vertical polarization.
