Kamarpukur Sada Bonde

Kamarpukur Sada Bonde (Bengali: কামারপুকুরের সাদা বোঁদে), is a GI tagged sweet, which is made in Kamarpukur in Hooghly district of West Bengal. It is a type of boondi. The main ingredient is Roma Kolaiyer Besan made from the seeds of the Yardlong bean. No colouring is added to it. Although the inside of the boondi is juicy, the outside is dry, which is called jhuro bonde.

It is said that this Kamarpukur Sada Bonde was the favorite of Ramakrishna Paramhamsa and Sarada Devi themselves.
