Kandukur, natively known as Kandukuru, is a town in Nellore district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipality and the headquarters of Kandukur mandal as well as Kandukur revenue division. Kandukur Mandal is located at the south-east side of the Prakasam District having geographical area around 225 km2.There is only 1 city in the Kandukur Mandal, which is Kandukur Municipality having an area of 37.63 km2.
