Kanoya (鹿屋市, Kanoya-shi) is a city in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 March 2024, the city had an estimated population of 98,367 in 46114 households, and a population density of 100 persons per km². The total area of the city is 448.15 km2 (173.03 sq mi). Kanoya is also popularly called the "Town of Roses".
