Karakulinsky District (Russian: Кара́кулинский райо́н; Udmurt: Каракулино ёрос, Karakulino joros) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the republic. The area of the district is 1,192.6 square kilometers (460.5 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Karakulino. Population: 12,230 (2010 Census); 13,835 (2002 Census); 14,620 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Karakulino accounts for 39.4% of the district's total population.
