Krasnozorensky District (Russian: Краснозоренский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Oryol Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 650.0 square kilometers (251.0 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Krasnaya Zarya. Population: 6,504 (2010 Census); 8,610 (2002 Census); 9,344 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Krasnaya Zarya accounts for 24.1% of the district's total population.
