The Labour Party of Malaya (Malay: Parti Buruh Malaya; abbrev. LPM) was a political party in Malaya that was active between 1952 and 1972. It was originally formed as a confederation of state based labour parties known as the Pan-Malayan Labour Party (PMLP). Part of the Malayan Peoples' Socialist Front, it peaked in popularity in the 1959 elections, but was later decimated by political detentions of most of its leadership.
