Laurent de Brunhoff (French: [loʁɑ̃ də bʁynɔf]; 30 August 1925 – 22 March 2024) was a French author and illustrator, known primarily for continuing the Babar the Elephant series of children's books that was created by his father, Jean de Brunhoff.
