List of tallest structures in Japan

Japan has more than 300 high-rise buildings above 150 m (490 ft). Unlike China, South Korea, Taiwan and Malaysia with skyscrapers exceeding 400 m (1,300 ft) in height, Japan's skyscrapers are relatively shorter. All buildings above 50 m (160 ft) must also be as earthquake-proof as possible and adhere to other strict structural standards.

The tallest building in Japan is currently the 325.5 m (1,068 ft) tall Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower, located in the Toranomon district of Tokyo. The 390 m (1,280 ft) Torch Tower is set to be completed in 2027 as the country's new tallest building.
