The loganberry (Rubus × loganobaccus) is a hybrid of the North American blackberry (Rubus ursinus) and the European raspberry (Rubus idaeus), accidentally bred in 1881 by James Harvey Logan, for whom they are named. They are cultivated for their edible fruit.
