James King, 1st Lord Eythin, 1589 to 9 June 1652, was a professional soldier from the Orkney Islands in Scotland. He served in the Swedish army from 1615 to 1639, then later supported the Royalist cause in the War of the Three Kingdoms. He died in Stockholm in 1652, and was buried in Riddarholm Church.
