Macaranga gigantea Common name Chia Kubet, (synonym Macaranga megalophylla) is a pioneer tree species of the Spurge Family (Euphorbiaceae) from western Indo-China and Malesia including Sulawesi. The leaves are peltate, tricuspidate and are up to five feet (1.5 meters) long and wide on a petiole of comparable length.
