Madame Muriel Morrible is a fictional character and the main antagonist in author Gregory Maguire's 1995 novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. The character also appears in the Broadway musical Wicked, which is loosely based on Maguire's novel, and in the musical's two-part film adaptation, Wicked (2024) and Wicked: For Good (2025). She is the headmistress of Crage Hall at Shiz University, and a cohort of The Wizard of Oz. Morrible is an experienced sorceress, and instructs a sorcery seminar at Shiz.
