Majdanek [mai̯ˈdanɛk] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zamość, within Zamość County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It lies approximately 8 km (5 mi) south-west of Zamość and 80 km (50 mi) south-east of the regional capital Lublin.
