Manisha Shah is an American economist who is the Chancellor's Professor of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy. She is a development economist whose primary research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of applied microeconomics, health, and development. She is an editor at the Journal of Health Economics and an associate editor at The Review of Economics and Statistics as well as a faculty research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, a research fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor, and a faculty affiliate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab.
