Amstetten (German pronunciation: [amˈʃtɛtn̩] ⓘ) is a city in Lower Austria. It is the capital of the Amstetten District and the centre of the historical region Mostviertel (“Most” – lightly fermented apple juice, “viertel” – a region of the province Lower Austria).
