Md. Shahabul Haque (Bengali: ড. মোঃ সাহাবুল হক) is a Bangladeshi professor, researcher, political analyst, writer and journalist. He is currently serving as a professor in the Department of Political Studies at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Md. Shahabul Haque writes on national and international issues and regularly provides commentary on various topics in national and international media (such as BBC Bangla, Deutsche Welle, China Media Group, Anadolu). His research focuses on the politics of Bangladesh and South Asia, as well as the rise of China. His book Coalition Politics of Bangladesh: 1954–2014 has been included in the curriculum of universities in Bangladesh. He serves as the General Secretary of the Association of Bangladesh China Alumni, an organization of former Bangladeshi students who studied in China, and is the founding president of the Bangladesh-China Youth Student Association, a voluntary organization of Bangladeshi students and professionals in China. He also serves as the coordinator of the Chinese Corner at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
