Melayê Cizîrî

Melayê Cizîrî (Kurdish: مەلای جزیری, lit. 'Mullah Jaziri', also Sheikh Ahmad Jaziri; c. 1570 – c. 1640), born Ahmad Nîşanî, was a Kurdish poet who laid the foundations for Kurdish poetry.
