Melvin Clyde Baker (born August 12, 1950) is an American former professional football wide receiver who played three seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers, and Houston Oilers. He was selected by the Dolphins in the eighth round of the 1974 NFL draft after playing college football at Texas Southern University. Baker was also a member of the St. Louis Cardinals and Buffalo Bills.
