Mengü Ertel (1931 – March 15, 2000) was a Turkish graphic artist, Ertel who graduated from the Istanbul Fine Arts Academy, became known for the decorations and posters he made for the theaters. The poster of the 1st Istanbul Festival was prepared by him. Ertel received the title of State Artist in 1998. He was also the presenter of the weekly TV show Cumhuriyete Kanat Gerenler until his death.
