Doyle Merwin Coad (born September 28, 1924) is an American retired minister and politician from Iowa who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives for three terms from 1957 to 1963. His election snapped the Republican Party's fourteen-year hold on every U.S. House seat from Iowa. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
Since the death of John Dingell in February 2019, Coad is the earliest-serving living former member of the House, and is the last living former U.S. representative who assumed office in the 1950s.
