Michael Arthur Worden Evans (June 21, 1944 – December 1, 2005) was an American newspaper, magazine, and presidential photographer. He was Ronald Reagan's personal photographer during his first term as president from 1981 through 1985. Evans is best remembered for his 1976 iconic photo of Ronald Reagan wearing a cowboy hat taken while Evans was working for Equus Magazine, that made the covers of many magazines in the week after Reagan's death in 2004. He was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize while shooting for The New York Times.
