Michael Wright is an American actor best known for his roles in the films The Five Heartbeats (1991), Streamers (1983), and Sugar Hill (1994), and for his television roles Elias Taylor in V: The Series (1984–1985), Omar White in Oz (2001–2003), and Lazarus Prime in Black Lightning (2019).
Wright was born and raised in New York City and is a graduate of the New Lincoln School.
