Mikhaylovsky District (Russian: Миха́йловский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the krai. The area of the district is 3,100 square kilometers (1,200 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Mikhaylovskoye. Population: 21,211 (2010 Census); 23,797 (2002 Census); 24,044 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Mikhaylovskoye accounts for 52.0% of the district's total population.
