Milan Brglez (Slovene pronunciation: [ˈmíːlam ˈbə́ɾɡlɛs]; born 1 September 1967) is a Slovenian political scientist and politician who served as Speaker of the National Assembly of Slovenia from 2014 to 2018. He has served as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) since 2019. A member of the Social Democrats, part of the Party of European Socialists, Brglez was a candidate in the 2022 presidential election.
