The minister of industry (French: ministre de l’industrie) is the minister of the Crown in the Canadian Cabinet who is responsible for Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada.
The minister of industry is also the minister responsible for Statistics Canada. By convention, the minister of industry also serves as the registrar general of Canada.
The current minister of industry is Mélanie Joly.
