The Naval Ministry of the Russian Empire (Russian: Морское министерство Российской империи) was the central body of military management of the Imperial Russian Navy, was founded through the Manifesto on the Establishment of Ministries in 1802 during the reforms of Alexander I, during the establishment of ministries in the Russian Empire, under the name of the Ministry of Navy. The Imperial Russian Navy was the most expensive part of the armed forces, which led to the formation of the Ministry of Naval Forces as a new form of management of the Russian Empire.
