Monforte (Portuguese pronunciation: [mõˈfɔɾtɨ] ⓘ) is a municipality in the District of Portalegre in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 3,329, in an area of 420.25 km2.
The present Mayor is Gonçalo Nuno Lagem, elected by the Coligação Democrática Unitária.
