Motul Municipality (in the Yucatec Maya language: 'place of no overflowing') is a municipality in the Mexican state of Yucatán. It contains 297.63 km2 (114.92 sq mi) of land and is roughly 45 km (28 mi) east of the city of Mérida.
In June 2023, Motul was nombrated 'Pueblo Mágico' by SECTUR (Tourism Secretary)
