Murugashankari Leo

Murugashankari Leo is an Indian dance tutor, theatric actor, and research scholar.

She knows well how to instruct the Bharatantyam dance in Indian schools. This is an ancient Indian classical dance known for its beauty, grace and uniqueness.

Murugashankari has performed this art for long and has performed it countless times across India and other countries.

She runs the institution named Kalai Koodam – Academy of Performing Arts in Chennai and Madurai, where dance training in Bharatanatyam is taught. She is also trained in Carnatic music and the Nattuvangam dance.

Murugashankari is also a trained Yoga Teacher of the Sivananda Tradition at the Meenakshi Ashram, Madurai.
