Myconus (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Myconus (/ˈmɪkənɒs, -noʊs/, also UK: /ˈmiːk-/; Ancient Greek: Μύκονος [ˈmikonos] Mykonos) or Mycon was a local hero and an eponymous first ruler of Mykonos. He was the son or grandson of the god Apollo.
