Myrmex (Attic woman)

In Greek and Roman mythology, Myrmex (Ancient Greek: Μύρμηξ, romanized: Múrmēx, lit. 'ant') is a young maiden who became a favourite of the goddess Athena. Her story survives in the works of fifth-century AD Latin grammarian Maurus Servius Honoratus.
