Nagan Raya Regency (Indonesian: Kabupaten Nagan Raya) is a regency in the Aceh special region of Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra, and was formed on 10 April 2002 from districts formerly part of West Aceh Regency. The seat of the regency government is at Suka Makmue. The regency covers an area of 3,544.9 square kilometres and had a population of 139,663 people according to the 2010 Census and 168,392 at the 2020 Census. The official estimate as at mid 2023 was 176,461 (comprising 88,872 males and 87,589 females).
