Nancy Vaughan (born Nancy Barakat, and formerly Nancy Mincello) is the 48th mayor of Greensboro, North Carolina. Having previously served on the city council in district 4 and at large, she was elected mayor on November 5, 2013, with 59% of the vote. Vaughan was sworn in on December 3, 2013. She was reelected in 2015, 2017 and 2022.
Vaughan served as the executive director of the Guilford Green Foundation, an LGBT advocacy group, from February 2016 until January 2018.
