Neverkinsky District (Russian: Неве́ркинский райо́н; Tatar: Невер районы, romanized: Never rayonı) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Penza Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 984.5 square kilometers (380.1 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Neverkino. Population: 16,329 (2010 Census); 18,538 (2002 Census); 19,247 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Neverkino accounts for 26.8% of the district's total population.
