Oboyansky District (Russian: Обоя́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-eight in Kursk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,090 square kilometers (420 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Oboyan. Population: 27,923 (2021 Census); 31,042 (2010 Census); 35,815 (2002 Census); 39,663 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Oboyan accounts for 42.4% of the district's total population.
