Othman al-Ghanmi (born 1958) is a former military officer with the rank of General in the Iraqi Ground Forces, who served as the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces from 2015 to 2020. He was the Minister of Interior during 2020-2022. On 27 July 2019, he received the Legion of Merit from the United States Armed Forces and became the first Republic of Iraq citizen to receive the award.
