Pérignat-sur-Allier (French pronunciation: [peʁiɲa syʁ alje], literally Pérignat on Allier; Occitan: Pairinhat) is a commune in the Puy-de-Dôme department in Auvergne in central France. Pérignat-sur-Allier is part of the metropolitan area of Clermont-Ferrand and belongs to the community of communes of Billom Communauté. Its inhabitants are called Pérignatois in French.
