Peptidoglycan recognition protein 2 (PGLYRP2) is an enzyme (EC 3.5.1.28), N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase (NAMLAA), that hydrolyzes bacterial cell wall peptidoglycan and is encoded by the PGLYRP2 gene.
